Albanian churches have a great tradition in offering youth summer camps. And also ‘our’ prisoners children have gone to different summer camps where they had a fantastic time.
3 Children of the same family that had been to summer camp were so enthusiast for Jesus that they started Bible study group at home right away. And 1 of our former supported children had gone with the group this year as leader. So many more stories to share.

We finished over 20 groups with The Prisoners Journey, and we have planned new courses already for after summer. One of the prisons have prepared a fantastic place for our chaplain to organize our meetings and he’s about to finish the furnishing. Men and women have changed because they found Jesus, people have been baptized, and families have made new friends with believers from local churches.
And can you imagine – we’re thinking for private courses for believers inside prison. Our intention is to help them grow in faith, in understanding their position and how they can be of help for their fellow inmates.Summercamp 2016

And now it’s summer, and the speed of life has slowed down. Several of our colleagues are busy pastors of their own church, besides working in the Prison Ministry. Summer is deserved.
Most exciting news are the children’s stories from summer camp, what a privilege that we could sent them.

Please feel free to support our ministry. It’s not that hard.
Pray for us, to be able to do our work. We experience daily the power of prayer in our work, our contacts with prisoners, their families and victims of trafficking.
Donate a gift, so we can combine our prayers with practical support for the needy people.

After the prison, we came back to the house, and then the guys played soccer with the local village kids in the backyard of the church. It s a weekly sports ministry that the Pastor does with the youth three times a week for fun. It was also beautiful weather for outdoor soccer so some of the boys even got a little hot from running around! Here are some pictures below! Then afterwards we had a prayer and worship evening and sang songs with some of the locals, and had a wonderful time! It was a great evening.
