The staff of Shkbsh consists of chaplains, social workers and office personnel
Even though Shkbsh – PFA has quiet a number of workers, volunteers are most valuable as partners. For the love of Jesus they go and meet with prisoners, families of prisoners and even open their homes for people in need of shelter. Unfortunately we cannot present them all here, but we owe them great respect!
We noticed that the way our organisation has grown over the years is by simply starting to do the work. Within short time we got requests and offers for cooperation, partnership and other ways of support from a variety of persons and institutions.
This has strengthened us in the conviction that to obey the call from the Bible ‘to look after prisoners as if in bounds ourselves’ should remain leading for our mission and strategies.
Since 2008 the organization is directed by Fred Westerink, a Dutch missionary.
