Children are the ones that suffer most from their environment – poverty, imprisonment of their parents,
isolation and many more negative influences. Shkbsh PFA wants to contribute to the potential of children that are mistreated, put behind or sometimes even forgotten. The Bible teaches us in multiple places that we should cherish the children, not hindering them to come closer to our Lord Jesus and that they deserve our full support.
For that reason we started several Child Support Programs, where we aim to support them, build relations where we can motivate them and create opportunities for them to break away from poverty and impossibilities.
Secured Childhood – A sponsor program in cooperation with our Finnish partner Fida International.
75 to 100 children and their families receive a monthly food parcel. Next to the practical support we build long time relations and connect them with social networks of local churches nearby.
Three times per year (at least) we bring them all together for celebrations, peer group meetings to empower them, play games, teach them Biblical values and positive self esteem.
Summer camps – Every summer we bring children of our Secured Childhood program to fantastic Summer camps where they are amongst hundreds of other children and they can forget about problems at home – Just enjoy.
Once they have taken part, they always want to join again the next year – meetings their friends, learning from the Bible and have fun.
